Margaret Ormiston is a distinguished scholar on leadership and building effective teams. Her research examines top management teams and small groups to determine how successful organizations thrive. Margaret taught Executive Education professionals for nine years as part of London Business School Program on “Leading Teams for Emerging Leaders” before moving to the George Washington University School of Business. Her research has been presented at international conferences, received awards from the Academy of Management and has been published in leading academic journals and worldwide media outlets, including Harvard Business Review, Fortune, and the Wall Street Journal, among others. Margaret received her doctorate in Business Administration and Industrial Relations from University of California, Berkeley.
